This cast, having survived enough adventures to fill three mass-market paperbacks, now "settles" into a daily routine of cruelty, failure, jealousy, bitterness, gluttony, sloth, violence, arrogance, and stupidity. But especially stupidity.

White Flower Day is an all-ages humor graphic novel starring a precocious gang of supernatural kids: Pullapart Boy, Kid Medusa, Li'l Bloody (a vampire toddler), the Li'l Tin Stars, and more. Think Hal Roach's classic Our Gang comedies (before child labor laws made them impossible to replicate, unless you're a cartoonist) meets the Universal Monsters, with a tad of manga-style energy thrown in. The book consists of three stories: "White Flower Day," "Hostiles," and "I Saw You," all dealing with the theme of revenge (a new emotional desire to most of the tykes).

Jo's birthday is coming up, and April is determined to pull out all the stops for her best friend! But when her elaborate plans for a huge, over-the-top celebration fall through, April recruits the yetis and some fellow 'Janes to put on a play, instead. Meanwhile, Mal has been tasked with keeping Jo busy, to protect the surprise, but she might've done TOO good a job. Will the birthday girl make it back in time for her own party?
