I have Datafile Premium.
Loved the speed at which I downloaded these comics.
What a pity.

Thanks for the heads up. \How many more times are you going to fuck us over? 'I'm paid up through the end of July on Datafile.

You owe those of us that paid for the month of July on Datafile a free month of access to your new provider.

I can't afford to pay for an extra version of the feeds you already made me pay for.

You are a ;liar. Datafile is NOT CLOSE3D. If it was, I wouldn't be able to access my account.

Rio,
Thank you so much for this site and your contribution of time and effort to keep it going.

I was happy with Datafile too, and was happy with Filepost and I'm sure I'll be happy with the new service.

I hope other would understand that changing service providers is not a decision you make lightly or callously.

I was able to get a few downloads from Datafile last night, so they are still active up until now. I also paid through August, so it is disappointing to lose some money, but that is the risk we run with this type of collecting.

Rio,

You're right. I was extremely upset when I first read this post and overreacted. As I mentioned, my budget makes it difficult to pay for this. My account expires with Datafile at the end of this month. If GECdude, can get a refund from them I will be requesting one.

I looked at Filejoker earlier and it looks like they're a bigger bargain as it turns out. Thanks for keeping this site running and keeping us informed.

That really sucks, I JUST paid for a month of Datafile after not having it for a few months. Like, less than a week ago. That's frustrating to no end that they gave no warning or anything.

Thanks for all you guys do to keep file servers up to date with all these new posts coming in daily. Hopefully Filejoker will be kinder than Datafile.

Thanks for the update, hopefully they will just keep the files there. Though if they are shutting down for good I doubt it. Guess I better go through all the comics I need tomorrow before they shut down and wipe everything.

Grabbing my joker service tomorrow too.

The message I sent them was:

"I have heard that you are closing soon. I paid for a year's membership a little over a month ago. Will I get any of my money back?"

Their reply was:

"Dar customer,
We do not closed yet !!
You may use your premium !!
Kind regards,"

I suspect I will not be getting a refund.

So what's up with Datafile?
If they are not going to shut down, why they are removing all the files?

But the most important question should be.
Rio, will you permanently move to Filejoker?

I just want to understand more about the situation before paying anything.

Cheers,

JokerExtreme,
So what's up with Datafile?
No idea. Datafile just closed to uploaders, and pushed us to other site.

Rio, will you permanently move to Filejoker?
We left Datafile 100%.
We will work with Filejoker for 1 month 95%, 3 month 80%, 6 month 75%. Hope this is helpful.

Sad to hear about DataFile. I really enjoyed my service with them. In all honesty I only use DataFile for this site (bookgn rocks!!). I do have a few months left on my datafile account, but I'm not too worried about that. I am worried a bit about this new site though. I've never heard of filejoker. I'll definitely set up an account with them in order to keep using BookGN, but I'm always hesitant to give CC information to a site I don't know anything about. I don't use bitcoin and they don't take paypal. Does filejoker limit your downloads? Any info you guys can share about the service would be much appreciated.

Thanks for giving us comic fans such an awesome site.

RickWJ324,

I've been looking at the site for a couple of days now and it looks like they limit you to one download at a time for the free and registered (non-premium) users but that one download is 2048 MB!

One of the resellers that I've been using in the past (since my card provider doesn't allow purchases outside the US) is FileSharingShop and they do offer payment through Paypal. And it looks like even with the Paypal service charge that I get hit with, it still looks cheaper than Datafile was/is. (Also FileSharingShop has been offering me a 1% discount if I renew just before my premium key expires.) And no, I don't work for them. wink

GECdude,
Did you pay by CC?

RickWJ324,
Actually Filejoker is much bigger than Datafile and run by a professional team for 4 years. If you still concern CC infomation please try CC alternative #2 or #3 , they are 3rd party payment processors with highest level of financial security.

Kezdoo65,
Thanks for your information.
