June 1899, Venice. Bloody crimes have been shaking up the city for a few weeks now. The victims’ bodies are found completely emptied of their blood. Medium Letizia Giordano, Arthur Conan Doyle’s niece can’t solve this case herself, therefore she decided to go to London to see her uncle. They know his identity: Vlad Tepes, better known as Dracula.

Funky Koval is a 4-part Polish science fiction/detective story/political fiction genre comic book published in People's Republic of Poland in the 1980s. It gained a cult following and is still recognized as one of the best Polish comics.
The plot resolves around the figure of former military pilot and now space detective, Funky Koval, who with his friends and colleagues forms a private detective agency "Universs" and solves various cases in the futuristic world of 2080s. His investigations range from corruption in the police and government, through fighting cultists and terrorists, investigating missing spaceships and illegal slave camps, to the mystery of the Drolls aliens, who seem to have a much more advanced technology than the humans, and whose plans for the humanity - if any - remain a mystery.

In a medieval violence-torn, there is a child with extraordinary powers: Jelami, the zodiacal Infante. The potential for greatness is so significant that several factions are competing: the very Orthodox Lives, people which it came and that is considered equal with God, Mathgens, Phalanx composed of evil creatures whose names resonate as Thunder: war, Famine, Pestilence, Antechristus... Recital Jelami as one of their own, they would join them in order to rule the world, without mercy and sharing. And finally, the Missi Dominici: Wolfram and of Wurm, offering him evade human quarrels and help make the world better.
So young, manipulated, already disillusioned, Jelami which path will he choose the path of good or evil?
