NIGHT OF THE FIRE-BEAST is a meta fictional comic book based upon a lost 1958 B movie. It is the first of a series of books based around the titular character - Fire-Beast Dorugan. Rather than consider it a comic book adaptation, the book acts as the actual movie, using exposed wires, stock footage and flimsy sets within the artwork.
1948, a cargo ship sails the Atlantic ocean. Among the crew is Mack, a world weary veteran of the Great War, and Hudson, a young would be adventurer who feels cheated that he was too young to fight in WWII. Binary the graphic novel is based on Christopher Hinz's novel, Liege-Killer, which won the Compton Crook Award in 1988, and has garnered a cult following. Liege-Killer is part of a trilogy, which includes Ash Ock and The Paratwa. In Liege-Killer, human experimentation on human embryos in the near future produced a new species: the Paratwa, a single consciousness occupying telepathically linked bodies. The Paratwa are highly skilled warriors but look like normal people and are not necessarily identical twins, and can even be a pair of male and female. The books follow the activities of humans and Paratwa as these old enemies are reunited more than a century after the earth's apocalypse during which humans had thought the Paratwa race had become extinct.

Thieves & Kings is a Canadian comic book series written, penciled and published independently by Mark Oakley. The first issue was published in September 1994, with the creator planning on publishing a complete saga comprising 100 issues and about 2000 pages. The series is available as individual comic issues and in trade paperback form.
Thieves & Kings is high fantasy set in a land called Oceansend, with most of the story focused in and around the capital city of Highborn. The story follows the life of a young thief named Rubel and a young sorceress named Heath, but features a larger cast of characters.
Thieves & Kings is distinct from most other comics in that the creator makes extensive use of illustrated story pages in addition to the traditional sequential art found in most comics.
