John Bergin attacks the medium of comics with raw energy and an utterly unique style. Best-known for his epic graphic novel, From Inside (published by Tundra in the late 90s and recently adapted to film), Bergin also created the critically acclaimed series Ashes, and co-edited the genre-busting anthology Bone Saw with James O'Barr (The Crow). Bergin has also contributed to titles and licensed properties for publishers such as Dark Horse, Marvel, DC, Heavy Metal, and many others. He is an accomplished art director and graphic designer, having created over 300 album covers and illustrations for clients such as Paramount Pictures, Lakeshore Records, CBS Films, Hallmark, Summit Entertainment, The Weinstein Company, Dimension Films, Warner Bros. and Universal Music Group.
DUST collects 11 of Bergin's short comics and a handful of illustrations from 1994 to 2013. His Harvey and Eisner-nominated work deals with themes of beauty and ugliness, of death and resurrection. Bergin's tone is relentlessly dark, but always retains a sense of human dignity.

Another series from the pages of 2000 AD, this one is all about james bond or uber diplomat, meets the universe. Overall another fascinating series to come out of 2000 AD, and also out of print and very hard to find at any price. This was written by Willie Patterson and Sydney Jordan, with the plot of an extra ordinary person who travels the universe solving problems, most of the time diplomatically, the rest of the time with the point of a weapon. Standard genre fare, it is a fun entertaining and engaging read, and something that should still be in print.

Before Bone is a signed and numbered paperback limited to 500 copies. It collects 64 Thorn comic strips from a 2008 exhibit at the Ohio State University Cartoon Research Library. Also included are an introduction by artist Jeff Smith, a foreword by his colleague Jim Kammerud, and an essay by Lucy Shelton Caswell. Thorn was the college newspaper strip by Jeff Smtih that later became the award winning Bone comic series. These rare early comics from 1982 to 1985 show Smith's evolution as an artist and give readers an early glimpse at Fone Bone, Phoney Bone, Thorn, Gran'ma, Rat Creatures and the Red Dragon over 10 years before the release of the first Bone comic book.
