Fables - Werewolves of the Heartland HC (2012) (Fixed)
English | CBR | 147 pages | 181.09 MB

A #1 New York Times Best Seller!
At long last! The long-awaited original FABLES: WEREWOLVES OF THE HEARTLAND graphic novel is here!
Bigby Wolf embarks on a quest through the American Heartland to find a new location for Fabletown, a secret society of exiled fairy tale characters living among the "mundys." In his wanderings, Bigby stumbles across Story City, a small town that seems to be occupied solely by werewolves. Oddly enough, they seem to already know and revere Bigby, but at the same time they've captured and caged him.
FABLES: WEREWOLVES OF THE HEARTLAND tells an epic tale that began well before Bigby Wolf set foot in the bucolic plains of the Midwest. It began long ago when he served in World War II and became mired in a Nazi experiment that would change nations. It's soon evident that murder in Story City is the least of their sins, and unraveling the town's many mysteries may cost Bigby, the seventh son of the North Wind, much more than his own life.
This new hardcover is a must-have for any longtime FABLES fan, as well as a great entry point for new readers.

Out of the deep woods, from the mind of acclaimed cartoonist Jeff Lemire, comes a series like no other! After being raised in total isolation, Gus--a boy born with deer-like antlers--is left to survive in an American landscape devastated a decade earlier by an inexplicable pandemic.
Sweet Tooth Vol. 1: Out of the Woods #1-5
Following on the heels of THE NOBODY, his Vertigo graphic novel debut, writer/artist Jeff Lemire pens his very first ongoing series SWEET TOOTH. A cross between Bambi and Cormac McCarthy's The Road, SWEET TOOTH tells the story of Gus, a rare new breed of human/animal hybrid children, has been raised in isolation following an inexplicable pandemic that struck a decade earlier. Now, with the death of his father he's left to fend for himself . . . until he meets a hulking drifter named Jepperd who promises to help him. Jepperd and Gus set out on a post-apocalyptic journey into the devastated American landscape to find 'The Preserve' a refuge for hybrids.
This unique and haunting new series is written and illustrated by Eisner-nominated creator Lemire (The Essex County Trilogy) and colored by fellow Eisner nominee Jose Villarubia.
Sweet Tooth Vol. 2: In Captivity #6-11
In this second volume, Lemire explores the heartbreaking story of Jeppard and how he went from a devoted husband to the ruthless mercenary he is now. Meanwhile, Gus is captured in a camp with other hybrid creatures where he meets Dr. Singh, a scientist studying the plague that's wiped out so much of the world. By traveling more into Gus' past, Singh will learn more about the plague, as well as clues at how some of it might relate to Gus and his father.
Sweet Tooth Vol. 3: Animal Armies #12-17
In this third volume, Jeppard begins to form an army to topple the militia camp so he can rescue Gus and the other hybrid kids. But will he arrive too late to save anyone?
Sweet Tooth Vol. 4: Endangered Species #18-25
A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER Gus reluctantly joins Jepperd on missing persons hunt, but the tension between the two continues to grow. Meanwhile, Singh and Johnny come face to face with a deadly new threat, and Lucy and the girls meet Walter Fish, an enigmatic survivor who may have more to offer than meets the eye. Will this lead to a new sanctuary for them, or something far more dangerous?
Sweet Tooth Vol. 5: Unnatural Habitats #26-32
As the mysterious Captain James Thacker and his crew man a deadly expedition, they will uncover secrets centuries old, but what does any of this have to do with Gus and Jepperd? Plus, while Jeppard, Singh and Gus make plans to head to Alaska, things start to deteriorate for the rest of the group back at the sanctuary!
Interlude (issue 33): A very special issue of SWEET TOOTH as we check in on "The Continuing Adventures of The Big Man and The Little Boy." It's a children's story unlike any other - and a major step forward in the series.
Sweet Tooth Vol. 6: Wild Game
Dr. Singh arrives in Alaska and uncovers the origins of Gus and the hybrid children and the cause of the plague that decimated the world. And as Gus and Jepperd finally arrive in Alaska and come face to face with the truth, the militia continues to bear down on them. Their deadliest battle is still ahead.

Assassin's Creed - The Fall #1-3 (2011)
Assassin's Creed: The Fall is a comic book mini-series written by Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl and published by WildStorm. The mini-series, consisting of 3 issues, follows the journey of the Russian Assassin Nikolai Orelov during the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, whose genetic memories are being viewed by his present-day descendant Daniel Cross thanks to a natural version of the Bleeding Effect. The series was initially planned as an expansion of the travels of Ezio Auditore, but was moved to an entirely new setting to provide greater freedom to the writers. Despite this, the comic still utilizes the long-standing Templar vs Assassin feud as the basis of its story.
Assassin's Creed - The Chain (2012)
Eisner award winners Karl Kerschl and Cameron Stewart return to create the sequel of Assassin's Creed The Fall. Assassin's Creed The Chain completes the Daniel Cross/Nikolai Orelov narrative arc, but it also sheds a new light on Assassin's Creed III...
