Zombillénium v1: Gretchen
Written by: Arthur de Pins
Art by: Arthur de Pins
Digital Release: February 13 2018
49 Pages

Francis von Bloodt, vampire of his state, manages as a good father the amusement park Zombillénium. We do not hire anyone at Zombillenium: the simple mortals have only to go their way, here we only work with authentic werewolves, vampires and mummies. This is what Aurelien will discover, a man at the end of the roller, deceived by his wife; and who will find himself hired in spite of himself in this strange enterprise. Gretchen, trainee witch, will help her to take her first steps...
After having started in the pages of Spirou magazine, Arthur de Pins has multiplied collaborations in animation, publishing and advertising. His hit series Sines Mignons at Fluid icy revisits with humor the classics of naughty comics. With Zombillénium, he tackles another register, that of the fantastic comedy of the most zany, full of winks, of shifted references and replicas already cults.

Zombillenium v2: HUMAN RESSOURCES
Tags on the walls, warning of the priest of the corner: visibly the spirits are warming around Zombillénium. When we only hire dead (or witches!) In a region where the unemployment rate is at 25%, we must expect some friction.
If we add to this visitors a painful crumb and employees who, to be dead, would not like to take a vacation, we understand that it is not too much time to come talk wage claims to Francis Von Bloodt.

A second volume that adds to the casting of Zombillénium with Astaroth, the teenage demon, and which confirms, if it were necessary, the particular talent of Arthur de Pins to handle a totally jubilant black humor.

I completely agree with all of above. Still, Tijuana Bibles were popular, weren't they? Sure, the story is just a vehicle for sex scenes. The women clearly are sexualized beyond believe. Still, these works have an appeal, perhaps, because they are so in your face.

If a preponderance of homosexual pornographic fan-fiction, art, and films featuring popular characters from Avengers, Magic Mike, Twilight and alike is any indication, gender and access to the Internet won't deter those who fancy this kind of material.

It should be obvious to even the most casual observer that this series has a blatant sexual nature. The black & white artwork reminds me of those 'Tijuana Bible' palm-sized pornographic comics from back in the 1920s to the early 1960s and shows little, if any, improvement in the style. The artist seems to have a preference for particularly buxom women with thick legs which I found unappealing. Can't comment on the story line as it only provides filler between the graphic depictions of sex. I can only see this of interest to prepubescent or teenage boys who don't have the benefit of an older brother's porn collection to sneak a look at or haven't manage to figure out how to find it on the internet.

While I only looked at the first issue I suspect the others are pretty much more of the same.

there is 1 RAR file that is too big to download without a paid account. Invincible 132-143. I dont suppose there is any chance of getting that file reconfigured is there? Because 143 is on there twice. If it was removed 132-143 then that one wouldnt be over-sized. pretty please

BTW: Please repost the other volumes as well, thank you.

Now that it's been made into a NOS4A2 movie I believe it deserves a re-upload!

Can these be reuploaded?

I already had an 8 volume series of this title that I downloaded back in 2016. They were not the best quality and I wanted to see it this newer batch was any better.

Uhhh... I've only downloaded the first volume of this set and Good Grief!; why in the world did somebody use a 2143x3056 pixel resolution for what is predominantly a black and white comic?!? No wonder the files are so damn big!!

Ok sure, the quality is better that the 2016 batch but I'm not sure if it is worth the gigantic increase in size -- just thought I'd mention it.
