The Sloane Rangers Diary (1982)

'Sloane Ranger', a commonplace term in 1980s London and Britain, was popularised by British writer Peter York and co-writer Ann Barr in 'The Official Sloane Ranger Handbook', 'The Official Sloane Ranger Directory', and this book, their companions, 'The Official Sloane Ranger Diary'. Both books were published by the British society-watcher magazine Harpers & Queen, for whom Peter York was Style Editor and "was responsible for identifying the cult phenomena of "Sloane Rangers" and "Foodies". This diary is the guide to the Sloane's year, for the Sloane about town and country, detailing and listing the essential Sloane cultural and social events to attend.
