1Q. Hello! I'm just wondering why I can't download from filedd... I tried many times, but I always get "403 forbidden." What does it mean?

1A. We are sorry we have tried downloading from filedd several times everyday, but can not duplicate "403 error".
"403 forbidden" means you are blocked by the firewall on their server. It usually happens when you visit the site too many times in a short time (e.g. you are using some download accelerator tools), or when the site is under DDos attack, the firewall will close all visits.
Usually it will last for only couple minutes.

BTW, When you report "403 forbidden." to us, some more details are appreciated:
1. the time you get this message: visiting the site webpage, after download countdown, or begin to download.
2. your Filedd user type: free, register or premium member.
3. your network: mobile, behind router, VPN, connecting directly to internet provider, dynamic IP.

2Q. I tried many times, but I don't receive the email to confirm my registration, what should I do to sign up?
1A. Please use gmail/hotmail/live free email services. We don't support yahoo, enterprise or ISP mailbox.
2A. We don't send confirmation emails temporarily. Your account will be created right after you submit your validated information.

3Q. How do I disable Windows Defender SmartScreen?
3A. To disable it, right-click the Start menu button and select Control Panel from the context menu. Then, with the category view enabled, navigate to System and Security > Security and Maintenance. Select Change Windows SmartScreen settings from the left-side pane.

4Q. How to disable SmartScreen Filter in Microsoft Edge
4A. Open Microsoft Edge.
Click the menu (...) button in the top-right corner.
Click on Settings.
Click the View advanced settings button.
Turn off the "Help protect me from malicious sites and downloads with SmartScreen Filter" toggle switch.

5Q. Which web browser do you recommend?
5A. We recommend 1. Firefox, 2. Chrome.

6Q. Which (free) anti-virus security software do you recommend?
6A. We recommend Bitdefender. Please check the comprehensive assessment of antivirus industry here.

7Q. Why my antivirus reported [a file] has a trojan?
7A. Please provide your antivirus application name and trojan name first.
In most cases alarms are false positives.
You can extract the files by winrar or winzip after renaming extension from .cbr/.cbz to .rar/.zip and scan the image files instead.
